Iris Adams the first South African nurse to be vaccinated has passed away at the age of 64. Iris Adams death came as a shock after getting vaccinated in February and she has been described to have died of Covid-19 on September 18, 2021.

Her obituary notice was announced on social media. According to an annonymous facebook user, he pen down a tribute note to honor the passing of Iris Adams who has served the public for over 40 years.

He says, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Iris Adams. She has been a loyal public servant for over 43 years. She was born on 28 September 1956 and started her nursing career on 1 January 1978. She worked at Karl Bremer Hospital since 01 May 1997.

Adams was seen on video in February shortly after getting vaccinated stating that she was feeling fine and encouraging other to take that jab.
